GRAHAM CHRISTOPHER
director / actor, artistic director of Daylight Players
Graham founded Daylight Players in 2003, following a series of workshops in London with the core group of actors in the company.
For the last eight years, Graham has worked with Globe Education at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, leading workshops for, and giving talks to groups of all ages. In recent years he has worked with teachers, students and actors in Germany, Bulgaria and Denmark. In 2000 he was sponsored by Linfield College, Oregon, to lead workshops and to lecture in schools and colleges in Oregon, USA.
Graham has appeared on the stage of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in various roles in Julius Caesar - for Globe Education (1997), and for the Globe Theatre Co. (1999) in preview performances - and also in The Old Wives Tale for the Lions part theatre company in 2000.
Graham's career as an actor spans over 24 years, and he has toured extensively with theatre companies throughout the UK, as well as appearing on TV, film and commercials. He trained at Drama Studio London in 1978/79, and was directed by Andy Harmon. He later joined the Spolin London Workshop, created by Andy, working with the Improvisational Theatre games of Viola Spolin, and giving live improvised shows. Graham has led his own improvisational skills workshops for many years.
Graham spent two years with the Medieval Players, playing everything from God to the Devil, and notably Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew, which also toured Australia.
Other tours include: Accidental Death of an Anarchist and Grub Street Opera (Magnificent Theatre Co.), The Secret Agent (Dr Foster's), A Man for all Seasons (Jill Freud & Co.) - including a British Council Tour to Pakistan. Favourite roles include: Dobbin in Vanity Fair, Jean in Miss Julie, Feste in Twelfth Night, the Player in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, and the title role in Don Quixote at the Warehouse Theatre Croydon, where he has appeared in several productions. In 1998 Graham played the Ghost & Player King in Hamlet on the battlements of a ruined castle for the Ludlow Festival.
Recent TV appearances include: Kiss me Kate, Hidden City, Body Story, SPOOKS 2, Inspector Lynley Mysteries and commercials for Lexus cars and Zurich Insurance.
As well as directing numerous scenes from Shakespeare with students on the Globe stage, he has directed productions of A Comedy of Errors (Drama Studio London), Abigail's Party and Absent Friends (Timezone Theatre Co), A Last Belch for the Great Auk by David Halliwell (Edinburgh), The Mother by Franca Rama, and new plays Knife and The Poet's Wife (all London Fringe). He was assistant director for The Grub Street Opera (Magnificent Theatre Co).
Graham is an Associate Partner with Impact Factory, a training and development company in North London, for whom he regularly leads programmes on presentation, communication, influencing and leadership skills.

Film work includes playing the title character in Eve for the New York Film Academy.
Claire works at the Globe theatre as an Education Practitioner running educational workshops such as Lively Action for 9-11 year-olds and the Our Theatre project, and other community projects.
TRACEY KEELING

Tracey trained at Bretton Hall (UK), and The Neighbourhood Playhouse (New York) and has worked on both sides of the Atlantic ever since. She is co-founder of a new theatre company in Chicago.
Professional theatre credits include roles in Dangerous Liasions (Spoieto Festival USA), Night Mother (Studio 222, USA), Hamlet (New York Deaf Theatre, USA), Emergence (Electric Sheep Theatre Co, at York Arts Centre), Lilita (New York Fringe Festival, USA), A Woman's Honour (Theatreworks USA), beLIEve (Rose Theatre).
Television includes The Man Who Saved Children (RDF Media/Channel 4)

PATRICK KNOX

For Daylight Players Patrick played Mercutio, Capulet and Ensemble in their 2003 and 2004 productions of Romeo & Juliet
Patrick trained at Mountview and made his professional debut touring primary schools dressed as a monkey. Theatre work since then has included seasons at the Palace Westcliff, the Watermill Newbury and the Orange Tree Richmond. At the Mermaid Theatre London he played Mike Hogan in O'Neill's A Moon For The Misbegotten. For the British Council he played Gobbo in The Merchant Of Venice on a tour of India and Iraq. His many UK tours include: for Medieval Players, playing all Seven Deadly Sins and the Pope in Doctor Faustus and Hamlet in 1st Quarto Hamlet; for Third Party, playing Richard III, Macbeth and Puck as well as Drugger in The Alchemist; and for Actors Of Dionysus, playing the Peasant in Euripides' Electra. He is about to tour East Anglia in a new play, The Edge Of The Land, for Eastern Angles.
Television includes Them And Us (BBC) and Keen Eddie (Paramount TV). Film includes Little Dorrit and The Fool (Sands Films).
For the last twelve years he has been a member of the freelance education team at Shakespeare's Globe, leading workshops, lecturing and directing scenes. Other education work includes devising and performing in interactive history dramas for younger children. He regularly undertakes role-play and training work for business and medical clients and leads arts tours for visitors to London.
MATT JAMIE

For Daylight Players Matt played Romeo and, with the help of a very realistic grey beard, also played Old Montague in their 2003 and 2004 productions of Romeo and Juliet.
Matt trained at Drama Studio London where he was selected to take part in the annual "William Poel Festival" at the Globe Theatre, performing a scene from A Comedy of Errors. Since graduating in 2001 he has performed a number of staged readings of obscure Elizabethan and Jacobean plays for Globe Education and has taken part in various workshops.
Matt's professional theatre roles include: Mak in The Second Shepherds' Pageant (the Lion's part), Ford and Slender in The Merry Wives of Windsor and Duncan, Seyton and Ensemble in MacBeth (both UK tours with Oddsocks), Tybalt and Paris in Romeo and Juliet (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival), Antipholus of Syracuse in A Comedy of Errors (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival), Contarino in John Webster's The Devil's Law Case (Instant Classics), The Dauphin in Saint Joan (South Street Theatre), and John Thorpe in Northanger Abbey (Jackson's Lane), Duncan and The Doctor in MacBeth and Feste in Twelfth Night (Oddsocks). Recently Matt completed a national tour with Riding Lights Theatre Company in The Fun Of The Fair (working with the charity World Vision). Whilst training Matt had roles in As You Like It, Titus Andronicus, The Weaker Sex, The Belle's Stratagem, Under The Blue Sky, and Three Birds alighting on a Field, as well as playing Spiteful in a schools tour of Puss In Boots. Matt is regularly involved in corporate theatre events for Oddsocks productions, working with businesses ranging from housing associations to The European Secretariat (!?).
Film work includes The Interview (Steve Nex Films) and Crouch End Confidential (Westminster University Films) and corporate work for Oddsocks productions. On Radio Matt played Doug in BBC Radio Nottingham's murder mystery special, Strawberries and Scream.
Matt is also a musician, principally playing hand percussion (particularly Bodhran and African drums) and keyboards. He composes soundtrack music for film and theatre. He also is a photographer, and occasionally a graphic designer as well.
KITTY MARTIN

For Daylight Players Kitty played Friar Lawrence, Lady Capulet, Chorus and Ensemble in their 2003 and 2004 productions of Romeo & Juliet.
Kitty trained at Drama Studio London after graduating with a BA in Theatre Studies from Warwick University. Theatre credits include: Mother Bee in The Marrige Betweene Wit and Wisdome (the Lions part); The Wife in The Problem (Tristan Bates); Joan Trash in Tudor Consort (Shakespeare's Globe); Edith Frank in Dreams of Anne Frank (Shaw Theatre, Polka & No 1 tour); Season of improvised plays at Wigan Pier; Karen & Mum in Dungeons and Dragons (Tour); Pussycat in The Owl and the Pussycat (Cavalcade tour); Polly in Life Could Be A Dream (Frigidaires tour); Jane in The Black Hermit (Zuriya); Ruby in Getting Out (Tabard); Luciana in The Comedy of Errors, Lisette & Lord in Infidelities (Impact); Hermia in Midsummer Night's Dream (Bear & Ragged tour). At Shakespeare's Globe Kitty is a founder member of Winter Playing - a forum for practical theatrical experimentation on the Globe stage. She has done additional development projects with The Young Vic and Polka Theatre. She is also a regular role play/Forum theatre performer for the London Police and Teaching Hospitals.
Television includes: Phoebe in Trevor's World of Sport (Hat Trick); Dr Stafford in Weirdsister (Granada); Librarian in Likeness in Stone (BBC); Lucy Bond in Touching Evil (United); Carol Trentard in Broker's Man (BBC) and Anna Waller in London Bridge (Carlton).
Voice Over work: Kitty provides voices for TV & radio commercials, video and museum narration and corporate training. Her straight voice is warm and reassuring but she can transform to Sex Kitten to Mum Next Door through to Posh City Woman or Bright Young Thing in the blink of an eye.
As a freelance Education Practitioner at Shakespeare’s Globe, Kitty has led workshops for 7 - 25 year olds since 1996. Other education work includes devising and performing in interactive history dramas at The Imperial War Museum and The Museum of London and creating a Shakespeare Week for KS2 children.
Kitty runs her own theatre company, Fortune's Fool, with actor/director Dan Milne.

Kali trained at Drama Studio London. Her professional theatre work includes Fellowship and Goods in Everyman (Northampton Theatre Royal), Lawyer and Psychiatrist in Five Kinds of Silence (Old Red Lion), Molly in Good Morning? (Pleasance, Edinburgh), Slave of the Ring in Aladdin (Oxford Playhouse), Snout the Tinker in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Original Shakespeare Company), Wiggen in The Old Wives Tale (Shakespeare's Globe), Rachel in The Sea (Chichester Festival Theatre), Dunyasha in The Cherry Orchard (York Theatre Royal), Ilse in Spring Awakening (Jermyn Street Theatre) and Mrs Layden in They Shoot Horses Don't They? with the National Youth Theatre.
Kali is a member of the Lions part theatre company - a company associated with the Globe, specializing in verse-based drama. Work with the Lions part includes: researching and devising Lilies on the Land in which she played the role of Peggy (Southwark Playhouse and UK tour); various roles in the company's annual October Plenty festival on Bankside, including Doll in The Marrige Betweene Wit and Wisdome; Gyll in The Second Shepherds Pageant at the Victoria & Albert museum.
TV and Film include: Sally Witchell in Doctors (BBC) and most recently Emma in Neverland, directed by Marc Forster (Miramax), which is due for release at the end of 2004
MARIA ANDERBERG

Maira is the director and owner of the Sweden-based production company Kulturproduktionen who produced the touring productions of Romeo & Juliet with the Daylight Players in 2003 and 2004. She is a project leader and Cultural Policy Advisor, but most of all a Producer in Arts and Culture. As well as the Production Company she runs a record company and a consultance bureau, consulting in cultural and media issues.
Her education is grounded firmly in agriculture and leadership, and prior to her life in Production. Maria used to be a journalist and a rock´n roll singer. She left the "wild life" of the city in 1989 and moved to the remote east Swedish countryside where she now works and lives. Over the last few summers Maria has produced some of the most successful productions in Sweden, with critical acclaim from both the Press and the public alike.
